Description:  This course looks at delegation from the viewpoint of new, first time supervisors, who when seeking assistance with their overwhelming workload from their boss where promptly given the recommendation that they needed to “learn to delegate.”  This topic presents the pitfalls of the common approach to delegation, why its almost universally avoided by managers, and provides suggestions for how to effectively plan and implement a delegation strategy.
